Mr. George Mathews, who is based out of Chennai, and who was recently promoted as the Director at Insight Communications, says, “More satisfying is the fact that we have been able to get orders from all geographies i.e. Kerala, AP, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka; from all segments i.e. commercial printing, packaging, publishing, value added UV presses and government segment; And we have bagged orders for all our product ranges i.e. Enthrone 26 and 29″ presses, Komori’s latest GL 40″ press, the most popular 25″ * 37″ size LA437 press, Lithrone 29″ press with Coater and the innovative UV technology from Komori – the HUV !”

Mr. Sangam Khanna, Director, Insight Communications, who heads the Komori division, adds, “Our first job was to ensure that we set up a strong support network in South to ensure that the existing Komori customers do not get affected by the change – and I am glad to say that we have been able to satisfy each and every customer and redress all support related issues. First thing that we did, was to create two customer support locations, one in Bangalore and another in Mumbai compared to only one operating out of Bangalore earlier. Our next step is to have a service network in all major cities. We have already added service personnel in Chennai and we are in the process of adding people in Hyderabad soon. This way we will be able to provide local support to all our customers. Also, we have been fortune to attract highly experienced and talented engineers and they have been quick to win customers confidence.”

Insight is taking part in the Print Expo exhibition in Chennai starting on 21st and is showcasing itself in a brand new look. It will be displaying the most popular Kodak Trendsetter CTP – which is a market leader in India with around 500 installations in India and more than 25,000 installations worldwide. It will also be displaying the HP’s 5 feet Latex inkjet wide format press. Latex ink has proven itself as the most environmental friendly inks – and is slowly and surely replacing Solvent, Eco Solvent and UV based printing technologies which are commonly being used in the wide format print segment. It will also be displaying a whole host of samples printed with the innovative HUV Printing technology. These samples had attracted a lot of attention even at Printpack exhibition held in February this year in New Delhi. It showcases the ability to print on lenticular, plastics, Metpet, Aluminum foil and other non absorbent surfaces using the Komori’s innovative HUV technology on standard 4 color presses!!!

In a recent poll conducted by Printweek, Insight Communications was voted India’s best company for Service and Sales and it continues to live upto its reputation.
