New Lithrone A37P Lineup Debuts in Lithrone a Series – 01 Aug 2013

Komori has introduced the Lithrone A37P 37-inch offset printing press as a new entry in the Lithrone A series presses. Komori Lithrone A37 was first showcased in Drupa 2012. This is an ideal press for all commercial and book printers. The savings on plates, power, ink, alcohol, blanket size and ink duct foils compared to a 40″ press is a clear savings of around Rs. 2.5-lakh per month compared to a 40″ presses. This press can do around two-lakh impressions per day with the famous fast make-ready system of Komori. So not only is the press a cost saver, it also gives very high productivity.

The New A37P is equipped with a sheet reversal mechanism that enables the user to perform double-sided or single-sided printing with just one press. It is also very versatile; the press offers a compact machine size and a maximum sheet size of 640 x 940 mm that is capable of meeting a wide range of needs. The Press can print thin & thick stock of paper from 0.04mm to 0.6mm at a speed of 13000 impressions per hour. Permitting not only one-pass four-color printing but also front/back two-color printing of 8-up impositions of A4 size sheets that include a color bar for CMS in the margin. The A37P press is ideal for high quality paged printed items. Primarily as a four-color perfector but also as a two-color press, the machine is a flexible solution for a wide range of orders, including reference work, dictionaries, promotional books and comics.
